Welcome to the sound world of Branok.
We chose the name Branok because it reflects what inspire us.
Bran points to the raven, a mythical figure that appears throughout Celtic and Slavic stories — a guide, a watcher, a messenger between worlds.
The ending –ok carries the sound of oko, the word for “eye” in Serbian and other Balkan languages.
Together, the name suggests vision, insight, and the ability to see beyond the surface — qualities we hope to bring into our music.
Our sound grows from rhythm and voice,
from handpan, drums, and atmospheric soundscapes,
influenced by Celtic, Slavic, and Balkan traditions.
This space is still taking shape.

Welkom in de klankwereld van Branok.
We kozen de naam Branok omdat het weerspiegelt wat ons inspireert.
Bran verwijst naar de raaf, een mythische figuur die in vele Keltische en Slavische verhalen voorkomt — een gids, een waker, een boodschapper tussen werelden.
De uitgang –ok draagt de klank van oko, het woord voor “oog” in het Servisch en andere Balkantalige tradities.
Samen suggereert de naam visie, inzicht en het vermogen om verder te kijken dan de oppervlakte — kwaliteiten die we in onze muziek willen meegeven.
Onze sound groeit uit ritme en stem,
uit handpan, drums en atmosferische soundscapes,
beïnvloed door Keltische, Slavische en Balkanse tradities.
Deze plek is nog in ontwikkeling.
